Workshop overview

This session will introduce the basics of Open Science and the Research Excellence Framework (REF) to postgraduate and staff researchers interested in the matter. While different institutions would take varying approaches on these issues, we will introduce the principles of open research and discuss the importance and prevalence of open science practices both in the UK and globally. A quick briefing to what REF is and its purposes will also be made.
