Introduction
As part of the DTA Legacy Fund, I spent one month in Vietnam under the guidance of Care for Children Vietnam. The country was chosen as the study context for its rapidly evolving social landscape, strong focus on family and community care, and increasing national commitment to preventing human trafficking and safeguarding vulnerable children. Its close policy and migration links with the UK, alongside the continued presence of Vietnamese nationals among the top countries of origin for victims of modern slavery in the UK, make it a critical setting for examining prevention and reintegration strategies across contexts...
