Workshop overview

LinkedIn is a powerful tool for building a professional network and advancing your career. This is particularly true for international postgraduate researchers and graduates, as it offers opportunities to connect people of influence who have been on a similar journey and can therefore empathise with and support your career goals.

This session will guide you through the essentials for building a winning profile on LinkedIn. For example, how to headline your selling points and make your profile more visible. The session will also provide practical advice in the form of four key strategies for building an invaluable employer network, whether in the UK or overseas. The session will also be beneficial for home PhD researchers seeking to strengthen their professional presence and expand their career opportunities.
