A Viva Voce exam is the process of justifying what you have done, how you have done it, and why you have done it that way. It's an opportunity to discuss your research project with experts in the field and to prove that you have a deep understanding of your project.
We have invited our academics from the DTA Training Group and DTA alumni to offer useful tips and insights to help you prepare for your own thesis defence and to share their experience of defending their thesis, respectively.
This session is part of a recently introduced initiative, the DTA Community of Practice, which aims to bring together DTA alumni, supervisors, Training Group members, and other professionals from the DTA network to contribute to the training programme and share their knowledge and expertise with DTA PGRs.
Booking deadline: 4 working days prior.
Use the Book Now button to register your attendance. Once registered, you will receive an automatic email confirming your place. Please make a note of the date and time to your diary.
A link to join the session online will be sent to you via email a few days prior to the session.
If the session is fully booked, please contact dta@unialliance.ac.uk to have your name added to the waitlist.
Please note: registration via this website is only for current DTA researchers and DTA alumni. If you register via the site and are not a DTA researcher or alumni, your booking will be cancelled.
